On AOL: The Brad & Angelina Moral Mess, Further Responses

Well your name already infers that you live in a fantasy world where princesses marry their prince and everyone lives happily ever after. The rest of us live in the real world where marriage doesn't always equal happily ever after. My mother loved me when she was married and when she wasn't and I never needed her prove it by staying with my absuive father.

shatil2051: It's a moniker. I chose it because I like the phonetic sound thereof, not because I believe in flawless princes and princesses and magical faeries and perfect lives. The fact that you don't get that sometimes, a name is just a name, shows how naive YOU are.

On AOL: Brad & Ange's Moral Mess, continued

Why do people think that peice of paper makes everything right?? My mother was married 5 times and the only thing that showed me was how to go to 4 different schools in the six grade and live in 48 of the 50 states. The only time we were in one spot for longer than 6 monthe was when she was LIVING with a man. But to me love is stronger between to people when you don't feel as if you HAVE to do something. You do it from the heart not because there is a peice of paper. Oh I"m 66 years and still have no idea who my father was and neither did my mother so with YOUR logic.....................

cookie7181964: My sympathy for you for your not knowing who your father is.
However, it's not about "a piece of paper"...It's about a legal and moral rite, and the writing on that piece of paper is a contract. Without that rite, and that contract, they are merely shacked-up.

On AOL: Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie's Moral Mess

shatil2051, just because YOUR parents are screw-ups, doesn't mean I live in a "fantasy world." I sincerely would not call getting raped by many guys over many years to be anything of a fantasy. I'm glad your mom knew she needed to protect you and stepped up, but that doesn't make marriage any less valid or less of a value for people who have their lives together.

To: RAVISH, and other Y! Users...

Disagreeing with a group doesn't make one a bigot...Hating a group makes one a bigot. I'm not entirely sure all bigotry is wrong. I hate sociopaths, so I guess that makes me a bigot. How is that wrong? They don't even meet the criteria for being human. I have quite a strong sense of remorse, yet I do not feel guilty about hating sociopaths. I haven't met them all, but I have been treated badly by enough of them to get the gist as to the fact that they don't care who they hurt, or how, or why. If I hated domesticated dogs, for their ability to manipulate their humans by mimicking facial, emotional expressions they see humans making (at appropriate times), no one could justifiably hold it against me. So, how could anyone justifiably hold this against me?

John Barnes: most football managers have been racist | Racism in sport News | The Week UK

John Barnes: most football managers have been racist | Racism in sport News | The Week UK

Nice try, John. People of all colors have been dehumanized for thousands of years. In most parts of the world, royalty, etc., would enslave their own countrymen. And let's not forget what female slaves have been, and still are being, subjected to...generally, merely for being female. At least big, burly man slaves weren't sodomized by their taskmasters, "owners," and others.

Quit playing the role of victim...unless you want to feel what it's like to really be somebody's bee-yotch.

(Incidentally, I make no apologies to pedophiles, incarcerated or otherwise. They actually deserve to be gang-raped and beaten repeatedly, to be somebody's bee-yotches. Those who abuse kids deserve the very worst that can be dealt.)

And, I sincerely doubt you have any clue as to what is going on in the mind of another man. Grow up and take responsibility for your own actions. What goes on in a person's mind is not prosecutable, and so-called epithets are covered under the First Amendment. If you can't observe other's right to free speech, leave America. (And that goes equally to you, too, Barack.)

Commentary on the Crotchless Panties for Seven-Year-Olds Story

Even college girls (undergrads) should not be wearing crotchless panties. Why on earth would it be acceptable for teenagers to wear them? Until one is mature enough to take full responsibility for any possible consequences of having sex, they should not be [wearing crotchless panties], et al. What kind of clueless mother or father would allow their kid to own things like these? And I would hope that if you’re searching your kid’s room on a somewhat regular basis, at sporadic intervals, to make sure she (or he) doesn’t have such things in her/his possession. The management of that store as well as the buyers, etc., should be investigated…I am just as concerned that these are pedophiles, too. Pedophiles ruin lives regardless of what their day job may be: parents, store managers, bartenders, clowns, the president of the United States, what-have-you. They are all crooks and bastards, even if they could be canonized for their other works; pedophiles are demons.

To CarolR, Who Commented Under: Most of the unemployed no longer receive benefits By CHRISTOPHER S. RUGABER - AP Economics Writer | AP

Carol, you seem like a reasonably intelligent person. So, why are you a Lifelong Democrat? It's 'way better over here on the right, where we live by morals determined by God, not those invented [and forced upon us] by Congress. The types of "people" who benefit from excessive laws are lawyers, et al., judges, those who make a living by suing people. I feel like I can't file a police report or press charges against felons, etc., because I'll be part of the problem of the clogging-up the courts. Really evil bastards are running around the U.S. FREE because of all these idiots making more and more dumb laws that just squalor my rights (as a law-abiding citizen). Just sayin'.

Responsibility for One's Own Family and Decisions that You've Already Made

Because I don't expect the executive director of the ACLU to read, and certainly not to reply to my response to his tremendously offensive call to me to pay for his lawyers to fight for legislation for American taxpayers to foot the bill for reckless women to slaughter their unborn children, I'll reiterate my reply to him here.

Look, Anthony -- women make their choice as to whether they are going to reproduce the moment they hop into the sack with a guy. Because the guy is also making the choice at that time, he, also, has some say in whether any resulting baby should be born. Granted, he cannot force the woman into ending the baby's life (that would be devastating for two people, but he certainly has a duty to fight for the life of his own family.
REPRODUCTION IS A RIGHT, BUT NOT AN INALIENABLE ONE, WHICH LIFE IS!!!

I just came across the following, on a blog by a military Chaplain, who was given a dishonorable discharge for praying in Jesus' name. It is by one Charles from Springville, Indiana.

This is an expanded version letter I recently sent to the www.whitehouse.gov Contact web link and to our local newspapers. Your honest questions and comments are welcome, if you read this with objective honesty and can prove you understand my point of view. Dear Pres. Barack Obama, America, whose liberties and wealth you, your wife, and your daughters enjoy, was founded by well-educated men who believed the Bible, not by people who believed the Koran. Our American Constitutional Republic, the greatest, freest, most prosperous government on earth, with the strongest military and highest technology, was founded on Biblical principles of morality, not on shariah law and dhimmitude. Bible morality embedded in our Constitution enables all American citizens to treat each other as 1st class citizens. Are you aware that both the Old and New Testaments of our Bible were written by Jews (Israelites)? The Bible is the most accurate history book of ancient civilizations, and describes the spiritual and emotional processes taking place in the world today, with scientific accuracy. The Ten Commandments were given to us by God (Elohim, Creator of mankind, not by man-made god allah) for the purpose of protecting our relationships with God (Commandments 1-4), relations within normal marriages, families and neighborhoods; our possessions, property (including borders) and lives (Commandments 5-10). All of us (you, atheists, Islamics and Israelites) desire these protections. There is nothing religious about them; they are practical principles of life. Several hundred years earlier, Hammurabi incorporated these into a Code of 280 laws to regulate Babylonian society. And 1,100 years later, Buddha incorporated these and other Bible principles in Step 4 of his 8-fold path to perfection. What advantage would anyone gain by removing Ten Commandment Displays from our courthouses and schools? Has it ever occurred to you, sir, if there were no Nation of Israel and no Bible, there would be no United States of America? Therefore, I respectfully request, sir, that you follow the Godly wisdom of our Founders, study the Bible, and do all you can to PROTECT ISRAEL and her borders. They are still America’s best friend.

Note to Those Who Commented on Eva Green's Photo on Yahoo!

First of all, you guys are disgusting.
Second, Norma Jean Baker's alter-ego bleached her "downstairs" hair. It can be done. It's just super-creepy and a bit pervy. Marilyn Monroe was into porn and stuff, so it benefited her career. But how could you blame her for doing many of the pervy things she did? As a young child, she was devastatingly abused. I wouldn't excuse abusing others, but the damage she incurred was to herself, except for her horrible influence on others, and the pain she caused her husbands (some of them), and the wives of the men who used and abused her. Even the whole famous dress over the subway grate that was horrifying to DiMaggio was a result of her having been abused as a child. Marilyn Monroe was the result of her abuse. It was all she could do to keep from committing suicide. That is what it is, though: Dissociate Identity Disorder, as it is with all people who change their legal names and create a different person for themselves because they don't love themselves as God made them. They should be pitied, not heralded.

Fake Plastic Fish, Anyone?

Thank God for the inspiration to use plastic! It’s created so many jobs for people to be able to feed , house and clothe their families, and it’s helped to preserve food to cut down on food waste. God save the engineers in the plastics field! May we all buy them something long and cool at the end of their day! Bless the further engineering of crude oil by-products, and the responsible care of their waste, etc.

To Those Who Want to Expel Sheila Harsdorf From Public Office:

Did you guys ever think to vote your CONSCIENCE (if you have one)? Why are you seeking to persecute those who have become successful at their work? Successful conservatives are responsible people, who take care of their family before they take care of anybody else, and you have your sights set on destroying their families. If you are jealous of what they have, perhaps you should change some of your methods so that you, too, can be successful and take care of your families, rather than being a bunch of welfare-bitches!

To ALL Liberal Congresspeople and Senators, and Unconstitutional Heads of State...

Marriage is sanctified by God as being between a man and a woman only. This allows for the continued separation between Church and State, as God and Church are separate entities. To express as evidence, the proper priorities in life begin as follows: "First God, then family, then Church," etc. God comes before family, hence God is above marriage, because God created marriage. Since God created marriage, He says what qualifies as marriage. Whatever any random citizen believes God to be is irrelevant as beliefs and knowledge are entirely separate things. Whether a person believes in God or not is moot. We know that God exists, as all things denote that there is a God. Even the very limitations of scientific evidence are OVERWHELMING PROOF that God exists. All atheists know that God exists; they lie about Him because of their exhaustively tremendous egos. Such an ego must be a colossal burden on a person, and since there are so many of you who have such a huge burden, imagine then, what your Savior's burden was, having borne all things for you, having borne all things for the world!
I support marriage as God created it, not as liberal states imagine it.

Do YOU Let a Sociopath Put Words in Your Mouth?

Barack Obama has said that "we [Americans. Yeah, like he's qualified to classify himself as an American] do not trot this stuff out as trophies," referring to the photos of the alleged death of Osama bin Laden. He added, "That's not who we are." I'm not a "trophy" seeker, but Barack Obama has no right to speak for me, thank you very much. He does not accurately represent Americans in general. He is a cold-blooded hagfish, sucking the lifeblood out of the Spirit of America. He is a sociopath, and as such he can only accurately represent five percent of those in American society. I am not sure what percentage of Americans are socialists, but I know that the American socialists and American sociopaths is not a mutually inclusive demographic.

Get over yourself, Barack. You speak for no one but yourself.

Jay Carney, Wuss of the White House

The current White House Press Secretary is such a wuss. Not only is he very poorly-spoken, he is totally one of the biggest - pardon my language - p*ssies I have ever seen on television. He has, by order of Obama, provided less than satisfactory evidence of any alleged death of the al-Qaeda leader, Osama bin Laden. There is no "shred of doubt" of bin Laden's death available, but only because there can only realistically be a buffet of doubt. Jay Carney made the claim that DNA samples were "taken," not confirmed positive of being bin Laden's. I am less than impressed. If it is possible, I am far less confident that Osama bin Laden is dead now, than I was after watching the CBS Morning News on Monday. Jay Carney is either a blithering idiot and extremely naive, or he is even less capable to support his family by working any other job, or he has no sense of integrity. Or, what is far more likely, a combination of two or three of the above. Very, very pathetic. I wouldn't trust Jay Carney to fetch my frickin' newspaper.

Barack Obama, the Wannabe Movie Star and Total Narcissist

So, did anyone else notice that Barack Obama took his day off off to take credit for the killing of al Qaida's favorite guy, Osama bin Laden?

And if that isn't horrible enough, now every idiot in the U.S. is going to consider this occasion happening while Obama is president to qualify him for a second term.

Furthermore, they should not be honoring Muslim traditions in respect to the treatment of his body. Doing so strongly suggests that all Muslims are evil and anti-American, which they actually are. Oops. Nevermind, that actually fits.

'Waaay-too-Old People, SSI, and Taxes

@Wild West - It is true that when people stop benefiting society, they have no business collecting any money of any kind. It would be great if they would just keel over and put us all out of their misery. Still, there is no such thing as "a right to die." In fact, we have an inalienable right to life, as guaranteed by The Declaration of Independence. It's true, too, that this guarantee makes capital punishment illegal, and I think that's pretty poor because there are a lot of individuals who should be executed, whether they've been arrested or not. . .and God is probably trying to teach [that ninety-something couple] a lesson on selfishness, but they're not clever enough to take the hint.

However, regarding the opposite end of mortal life, there are not too many children in this world, and in general, those who are well-oiled baby-making machines are not the kind of people who have tax returns; they are usually people who get paid under the table and those who feel entitled to welfare checks to express their great love of cigarettes, all day, every day. There are some parents of larger families, who take good care of their kids, and those people deserve tax-breaks. Just because you deem your own DNA unfit to have a legacy, doesn't mean everybody else should avoid participating in procreation.

Charlie Sheen's Live Performance in Detroit on April 2nd, 2011

How does anyone presume they could justifiably get their money refunded from a live show that they actually attended? It would be like receiving a refund on a plane ticket for a flight you took on which the plane crashed: be grateful you're alive...but in this case, just don't waste anymore time or money on Charlie Sheen. How could these people expect anything better than irritable ranting? Charlie Sheen is an actor. That's it. He is not a comedian; he is an actor. There's a big difference between the two. One can possibly have both talents, either/or, or neither. I wouldn't pay for parking to go see Charlie Sheen live...or even for the gas to get to the theater - but that's because I'm not an idiot. I didn't watch him on Piers Morgan either. My time has value, though; does Charlie Sheen's fanatics'?
However, I don't think it's right to heckle someone, and that includes booing them. How would you like it if Charlie Sheen (or Michael Richards, say) went to your office, and started booing you as you tried to pitch an idea to your boss? Or, say he came down to the precinct and hissed and made animal noises while you fingerprinted suspects? Or maybe he cracked some one-liners at you while you were giving your guess as to a patient's condition and throwing whatever random antibiotic you were promoting that day at them?

Prince William's Choice of Engagement Ring

It seems obvious that Prince William of Britain chose to propose to Kate Middleton because he wanted to honor his beloved mother with his own advancement in his relationship. I think it's pretty obvious that he was unsuccessful, as he was actually (probably unwittingly) honoring his father - not 'merely' an adulterer, but a "man" who got married to one woman while he was already in love with another woman - instead.

So, ya didn't really think that one through; did ya, William? For the most important moment in his life thus far (save, perhaps, his birth), one would think he would have considered every possible crook and catch present the entire day.

Also, William, please read The Good Book to find the reason the most desirable women receive an engagement ring with a diamond for its focal stone.

I have no pity for Oprah Winfrey. Even as a child, she didn't have it all that bad. The first night at the same home that her mother lived in wasn't all that bad: at least she was allowed to sleep on the porch! So many billions of people have such lesser dwelling-spaces to sleep in.
I have determined that while it is inaccurate to call Oprah Winfrey a whore, all the guys she's been with must certainly be whores because what honorable person would have sex with a total sociopath? I mean, am I right, or am I right?

Regarding the *Harumpf!* Over the Proposed New License Plate...

Some people are all up in a tiff over the license plate design that would honor Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest, who was also a Ku Klux Klan leader. The NAACP is especially up in arms.

They really ought to just relax...The NAACP is essentially just the KKK for black people.
(Please note: I, myself, don't care what color anybody's skin is. Except for green or yellow. I do care if somebody is going to pass out, or if they have jaundice.)

Reply to A Yahoo User! ...

In a yahoo! blog today, A Yahoo User! wrote that the earth is 6,000 years old. It was also noted that evolutionism is a religion. While it is true that Atheism is a religion, the earth is so much older than 6,000 measly little years...at least, according to time as it is measured today. When the earth was initially created, it's rotation was much slower, allowing for death to begin with the fall of Adam. I am so shocked that these idiots in the evolution-community are too slow to figure this out.

Engagement Rings: Size Does Matter - But Not Always the Way You'd Think

I was just checking out UsMagazine.com's "Stars' Blingy Engagement Rings," and I must say two things:

1) Thank goodness nobody stole my idea for an engagement ring.

2) What is wrong with these guys' visual perception based on spacial relations? Can you not see that a little hand looks really stupid with a poly-carat, chunky, cocktail-like monstrosity on it? How ridiculous-looking! It's not a contest to "one-up everybody else's love" by buying a bigger ring to throw off-balance your gal's petite finger. I'm not complaining because these guys have more discretionary spending money than I'll ever have. I just think what would be a classy ring on a much larger female hand looks like a freakin' shopping mall on a little hand. There's such a thing as tact. There's such a thing as taste...and there's over-doing something grossly, just to spend more money. Why not put away some of that in a trust for your future children's college fund? Or were you hoping to skate on Harvard's coattails because they'll pay for a celebrity's kid to attend their ivy league?
Very, very tasteless.

* This piece was in no way intended to offend the faculty, etc., at Harvard, specifically.

Glamour versus Style

Glamour is great, but why doesn't anybody recognize a person for his or her *unique* style? Stealing a look from the runway doesn't require any thought whatsoever. People should be given props for putting together a fabulous ensemble on their own. No one who has her ensemble chosen for her should be raved about for "her" look. Her stylist is the one who did all the work. Likewise, a boldly unconventional - yet tasteful - tux or suit is by far more appealing than the James Bond-doppelganger, carbon-copy crap that most men choose for black tie-events.

Memo to Ellen de Generes...

Dear Ellen,

Why did you wait to address bullying on your show, etc., until bullied gay kids who've committed suicide hit the media fan? Rather biased; don't you think?

Why do you rave, etc., about supposedly "sexy" men when you're not into them the way your audience is? That's pretty creepy, you know. Is it to see how uncomfortable you can make the men? That's pretty rude.

Am I the only one who is off-put by these gross inconsistencies with your personality? Or, is the very point to be awkward and biased?
